The closer we got to closing day, the more excited she became. Now she is celebrating her first year as a bona fide local beach bum!</span><br />

Her agent, Denise, did her research and discovered that my team and I not only worked selling beach and vacation homes, but also specialized in residential relocation.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Kim has always dreamed of living at the beach. She works from home, so local employment was not a challenge for her. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Kim was leaving a townhouse. She wanted more privacy in her new home, so we focused on single family homes. Her price point did not initially allow for her to purchase on the beach, so we started our search in surrounding communities. As a single woman, she wasn’t interested in a “fixer upper.”</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">New to the Gulf Coast, she had to learn about homeowner issues unique to our coast: Insurance isn’t cheap, and our salt air takes a toll on heating and cooling systems.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Even after offers on 2 homes that didn’t come to fruition, Kim was determined to move to the coast.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">She shipped her furniture to a climate controlled storage facility, and I met the movers there to be sure her belongings arrived securely. On her next trip, we found the perfect spot for her: A new home (from a national builder) in a prime location in Orange Beach, just minutes from the beach! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Our timing was perfect, and we were able to get Kim the new home (complete with builder’s warranty AND Gold Certification, which greatly reduced her insurance costs) at a price she was comfortable with. Kim now enjoys daily beach walks, and lots of sand, sea, and sunshine.</span><br />
